This is easy and very good.
INGREDIENTS
Preheat broiler to high. Pat scallops dry and place in shallow broiler-proof pan or baking dish. Drizzle with half of the butter. Season with salt and pepper. Place the breadcrumbs, garlic and parsley in a small bowl. Add the remaining butter and stir until well combined. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the tops of the scallops. Broil until the topping is nicely browned and bubbly. Serve immediately.
