This is a collection of seafood recipes, some of which are traditional, a few that came from my mother, and most of my own creation. I have included fish, shellfish, sandwiches, pasta and soups with seafood as a major ingredient, as well as sauces, condiments and broth that complement many of the dishes. Seafood is one of my favorite foods. There are so many different varieties from which to choose, whether you prefer fish or shellfish. When purchasing any seafood, it should always have a fresh, not "fishy", smell. For most preparations, seafood should not be overcooked or it will become dry and tough. Some fish, like salmon and tuna, are best when cooked rare to medium, my preference being medium-rare. They tell us to eat more fish, so check the recipes below and enjoy!
